Same issue 3 days and still not able to sign on to xbox app hope they get it fixed soon. Does anyone have any idea why its only the pc's affected?

I have no idea why it's only affecting PCs but I talked with Microsoft tech support and they said that this is a known issue with their servers and they have engineers working to fix it. I have no idea how long this will take.

I've now had this issue for about a month. I enjoy streaming my xbox one on my pc because I prefer the smaller screen in front of me, as well as it allows my girlfriend to still be able to watch her tv shows. Now every time I want to play a game, I have
to get her okay. I don't get an okay without a huff and puff very often. I have chatted with multiple "Microsoft Tech Agents" and they all make me go through the same stupid steps. Uninstall, reinstall, sign out, sign in, check internet connection, check that
the time is set to auto, blah blah blah. None of it works. I FINALLY figured out that for whatever reason, my pc is missing 3 of the Xbox App Services. I'm confident that this is the reason the app won't work. I even tried telling the tech agent that and he
said "I'll look into that" and then made me do the stupid same steps I mentioned above. After chatting with them for 4 hours, never getting any info on the missing services, I finally said forget it, I'm switching to mac and sony, hoping to get a reaction
out of them but that didn't get me anywhere. He just said "I'll make note of that". So I ended the chat in extreme frustration and might look into buying a monitor. I'm really just annoyed with this whole entire thing. Get this fixed Microsoft, it's a driver/service
issue.

If you are having issues you can create a new thread and someone will be able to help you. As far as signing in there is a

Service alert out at the moment started at 1:44 pm. So could be affecting why you cant sign in.

Similar issue for me, except my error code is (0x409) 0x80070424. I'm extremely frustrated. I enjoy streaming my Xbox to my PC because I like my small monitor being close to me rather than a TV further away. I just streamed 2 days ago without any issues
at all. Really at a loss of what to do.

I had this issue around a year ago. I could tell you all the 10 steps I followed to solve it, unfortunately what helped me to solved this was to restart my PC as it comes here:

In the part of Windows 10 click on "Reset this PC" these instructions will help you to solve the problem, you can even leave your important files!
