    Hello All

    Just downloaded my first game through the Microsoft store called sea of thief's. Game downloaded and installed no problem. When i launce the game it says to log into xbox live.

    Heres where the problem starts. I open the xbox app and its asks me to sign in. and when i click the sign in button it does nothing. No further windows open up allowing me to enter login info. The Store is signed in no problem to my microsoft account but the xbox app seems to be bugged out.

    List of thinks ive tried from google/support chat.

    Firewall On

    Date and time settings

    Resetting xbox app

    reinstalling xbox app

    did all windows updates

    reset PC router

    created new admin account and tried the xbox app there

    ran virus scan using avira

    Im out of things to try can someone please help or suggest anything to try

    Hello zettdaddy!

    If you haven't already, I would recommend selecting the Start button > Settings > Accounts , then find the Microsoft account you used to sign in to the Xbox app and select Remove. Then go back to the Xbox app and sign in with the Microsoft account you just removed.

    That did the trick! Thanks soo much it just logged in automatedly when i opened the Xbox app back up.

    Close the Xbox app and open the Xbox Companion app, if you don't have this app installed, download the app using the Microsoft Store on your Windows.

    Then open the app, log in with your account, open the Xbox app and see if that resolves the issue.
