Xbox app will not login after weeks of working on Samsung TV

Please Help.

I have recently signed up for Xbox Ultimate pass so I can cloud game from my Samsung TV. It worked for about a month. One day it asked me to sign back in and now I continuously get an error screen saying “could not sign you in, something went wrong”. I have tried everything I can find online - resetting router, Modem, TV, clearing app cache, clearing app data, deleting and reinstalling app. I truly have no clue what to do. I will likely cancel subscription if I cannot get this to work.

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you, Chase. Let's try to perform a reset on your Samsung TV and check if you encounter the same issue.

Please follow the steps below:

1. Open Settings, and then select General & Privacy.

2. Select Reset, enter your PIN (0000 is the default), and then select Reset.

3. To complete the reset, select OK. Your TV will restart automatically.

Once done, please check if you will encounter the same issue.

Same issue. Although, for me, after the power reset, the TV settings app only worked once, before having the same issue. It also impacts the Xbox's ability to turn on or shut down my receiver and TV via HDMI

I have the same issue:

* the plain Xbox controller (non elite) connects via bluetooth to the TV and is recognised by the Xbox cloud app on my Samsung TV. I can use it to play games using the Samsung Xbox app.

* the brand new Xbox Elite Series 2 controller connects via bluetooth to the TV and is NOT recognised by the Xbox cloud app.

I tried several attempts deleting the pairing, re-pairing. Turn off TV on the power switch. Re-installing the Xbox app on the Samsung TV.

The result is always the same:

* The Xbox Elite Series 2 controller connects successfully to the TV and is shown as Paired and Connected in the Samsung TVs feature where you add external devices.
* But the Xbox app shows the yellow ! exclamation mark and does not recognise the Elite Controller.

I’ve paired my other non Elite standard Xbox controller now vie Bluetooth and USB, which works both.

I had to delete the xbox app from my Samsung TV and reinstall. Then it worked again. I also did a hard reboot on my TV

Same issue here. XBox S + Samsung Smart TV. Working fine for a few weeks and when turning the XBox today the TV got braindead and now won't pass from the Samsung splash screen before turning itself off and on again, in an endless cycle (even after unplugging the XBox and any other device from it)

I'd really like to get some answers from Microsoft regarding this, I'm afraid now to plug the console on any other TV, and it looks to me that there are more than a few coincidences in behavior
