    XBox App will not install


    I initially had an issue where the Xbox app would not open - it would show the logo and then the entire window would turn white.

    So I uninstalled the game and downloaded it again from the Microsoft website. When I start the installer, tick the box that I've read the software agreement, and click the "Install" button the installer freezes. I have tried this numerous times and the same result every time.

    Then when I go to install it from the Windows store, the button to install is greyed out and nothing happens when I click.

    Why does my computer seem determined not to let me install this app?

    Have you tried checking on the status of App Installer within your Microsoft Store library?

    You are not able to see Ark installed on the Microsoft store, on the Xbox app and not even by going to Start > Settings > Apps ?

    If you open the Xbox app and try to install Ark again, does it start to download everything from the beginning? I would suggest you to try it since the game may not be recognized as installed by the Xbox app but it is installed. If that's the case, it will download/install in less than a minute.

    The Xbox App won't install at all, Not even with the launcher!

    After trying all of those steps, it still doesn't install the Xbox App. It's still saying Retry after it almost finishes installing. It's only the Xbox app this is happening to. Every other app downloads and installs fine.
