    Xbox App will not expand from taskbar

    When I start the Xbox app it will appear in my taskbar as well as in the preview box when I highlight the Xbox icon, but it will not expand onscreen(neither minimized or fullscreen). Ive tried reseting the app, as well as using Powershell to delete it then
    reinstall it from the Windows Store, neither fixed the issue. It worked great initially, but now I cant use it. Any help would be much appreciated.

    :)

  2. HELP!!! Bingo app crashed on startup.

    So I am testing it now with a Surface 3 and it seems if you maximize the app from the taskbar after the crash (instead of restarting it- you'll see the Bingo logo in the taskbar), the app runs normally. However, this starting crash is still unusual and it's
    still filed as a bug.

    Note: You need to restore it from the taskbar right after it crashes- if you wait too long, it won't work.

    Another user reported better performance with Bingo after turning off the Adaptive lighting option in Settings but that may be unrelated to this error.

    How to permanently get XBox off the Taskbar

    Thank you for contact us! I'm Anderson, an Independent Consultant and a Microsoft user like you.

    good evening

    The instructions provided in the link you shared are generally correct for removing the Xbox app icon from the taskbar in Windows 10. Here is a summary of the steps:

    Right-click on the Xbox app icon in the taskbar and select "Unpin from taskbar". This will remove the icon from the taskbar.

    Open the Xbox app from the Start menu or the Windows Store.

    Click on the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the app to open the settings.

    In the settings, toggle off the "Show me as playing" option.

    Close the Xbox app.

    These steps should remove the Xbox app icon from the taskbar and prevent it from reappearing. However, please keep in mind that by disabling the 'show me as playing' feature will prevent your friends from seeing what games you are currently playing or when you were last active.

    xbox app notification in taskbar

    Hi and thanks for reaching Microsoft Xbox gamer's community. My name is Josef.

    I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft Xbox user like you.

    Hope you're doing great today despite this Skyvol

    Just to confirm, you already disabled the notifications for the app via Windows settings > system > notifications > find the app and turn off the toggle

    And also do the same opening Xbox app > settings > notifications > disable everything there.

    If everything is off already. Try this:

    Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

    Click Check for Updates;

    Click the Download and Install Now option, if available (Install optional updates as well)

    Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services and update everything too.

    Now, sign out from your account on both Xbox app and Microsoft Store and do this:

    Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.

    After that, click repair and then reset

    Finally do this:

    Step 1: Open the Run window by pressing Windows + R key.

    Step 2: Input WSReset.exe in the Run window and click OK.

    Step 3: Then a command prompt window will appear. After a few seconds, Windows Store will open.

    Sign in again on both Microsoft store and Xbox app and check if the notifications are still disabled. If not, repeat the steps provided at the beginning
