Xbox App will not download at all, receiving Code: 0x80073D05

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_. InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}.

This command can take a while to end, but when the process ends, you should be able to type in the PowerShell window.

After that, please restart your computer and try installing the Xbox app again.

C. Perform a clean boot in your PC, once restarted, try installing the Xbox app again.

To confirm I can download any other app or game from the Windows Store apart from the Xbox one

ERROR Code : 0x80073d05

I've been looking into this one and it is very strange as that code, on a PC, indicates a Store issue but not on the Xbox it seems

Also interesting that the code isn't even listed on the Xbox codes page...surely they must have come across it before!!

The upshot of this seems to be a full factory reset may be needed

I am unable to install the Xbox app (and therefore use my game pass I have paid for) as it gives me a: "Something unexpected happened. Code: 0x80073D05"

I have looked all over the internet, I have done a sfc /scannow - I have uninstalled and reinstalled the store via powershell, I am running out of ideas for a problem that seems unfixable now.

Open the Settings app it is the gear in the start menu.

Open Accounts

Click Sign-in Options

Scroll down to Privacy

Uncheck "Use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device and reopen my apps after an update and restart."

Restart your PC!
