Xbox App - What IS the latest version?

My first post. Be nice.

I have the Xbox app on windows 10 and, supposedly, there was an update in November that added microphone support to the game DVR. My version is 1112901100000 which is WAY different from what the MS support pages say is latest and I have NO mic options in
DVR...

I watched the youtube video from Larry Hryb with the nice chap from MS and there are clearly options for MIC on the version that they're using. Have I missed something?

I've tried updating in the store and it sees to be telling me there are no updates. I've also tried the Beta that's in the store and, although the version number is slightly different, it still has no MIC options.

Help: NFL app does not have game pass

I have the NFL app on my XBOX 360. I used the app last year with great success to watch game rebroadcasts. I renewed my NFL.com subscription and now the NFL app does not appear to have game pass, fantasy football is the only option. What is up? Is it
coming later?

To make sure that I had the latest, I deleted the app and re-downloaded. Still no game pass signup. Is anyone else seeing game pass on the NFL app for Xbox 360?

 

We couldn't find xbox one console with the IP provided.

Hi Wild, What version of the app are you using? Are you observing the same issue using the latest Xbox App (Beta)?

To your question -

You can check the latest version though this support article here:

It also has instructions on how you can manually check for updates, and install updates onto your machine for the app. Although, my version is: 11.12.9011.00000 -- which is the same as yours, but you have left out the decimal points. When I looked to see
if I had the Mic ability, I did not have this option either.

Looking at the store, this is the current version. Which is why you don't have the option to upgrade the app, as there is no public updates for the app. The Beta you had installed, would be for the SmartGlass, not the Xbox App.

Thanks for the welcome. My delightful username was a random one but fits me quite nicely.

I have found a solution to the missing mic. For some reason my laptop had not installed the major November update to Windows 10. I had to ask it to check for updates a few times and then it came back asking me to upgrade to Windows Home 1511. It took a couple
of hours and a few restarts to get everything back to the way it was but when I ran the Xbox app, the mic options had appeared.

tl;dr Make sure you have the November update to Windows 10 installed.
