Xbox-App update stuck at 0% and cant delete gaming services to fix it

I tried everything and it still doesn't work. The microsoft store says it needs an update but the update only ends in an error. Powershell cant do anything with "gamingservices" and says there are no gaming services". So everything after the repair/reset gaming services doesnt work because it does and also doesnt exist.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please reset the Microsoft Store. Hit Win+R, type: wsreset.exe and press Enter.

When the Store window pops, let it sit for 30 seconds, then close it. Go to Settings > Apps > Microsoft Store > Advanced options > Reset.

This clears the Store cache and often frees locked-up packages.

And then repair/reset Gaming services from Settings. To do this, please go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features. Search for Gaming Services.

Click the ⋯ menu > Advanced options > first try Repair.

If Repair doesn’t help, come back and choose Reset.

Next is to reinstall Gaming Services from the Store by opening the Store and paste this into your address bar: ms-windows-store://pdp/?productId=9MWPM2CQNLHN

Hit Get (or Install) on the Gaming Services page.

Then clean-up and manual PowerShell. Do this by opening PowerShell as Administrator.

First is to stop the related services: Stop-Service XblAuthManager, XblGameSave, GamingServices, GamingServicesNet -Force

Second is remove all Xbox-related appx packages:

Get-AppxPackage *GamingServices* -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage

Get-AppxProvisionedPackage -Online | where DisplayName -Like "*GamingServices*" |

Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -Online

Third is re-register Gaming Services:

Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.GamingServices -AllUsers |

ForEach-Object {

Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register (

"$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml")}

After that is restart your PC.

Once done kindly Run sfc /scannow and, once that finishes,

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Make sure Windows is fully up to date. Go to Settings > Update & Security. Install the update needed when available.

Launch the Xbox app once again.

I can download and update everything now. But the xbox app still try to update with no success, it opens and stay on updating status at 0%

Try the steps under the "Downloadable version" drop down considering where your Xbox app is currently stuck.

I can't even delete my videos, because the update caused them to currpt, and now I'm stuck with unplayable video and even more limited space on my Xbox cloud, Microsoft fix this!

I'm having the same issue. Xbox Live Clips are corrupt. I cant manage or delete them from my xbox one, they keep reappearing and are unplayable. New captures show up in the app, but change every time I refresh the page. Microsoft please fix!
