    XBOX app streaming = ok, onlinegaming almost impossible due to slow connection


    So i can stream perfectly to the xbox app,

    but as soon as i need to download something it goes from 90Mbits, to 900kb when xbox app is connected

    this also counts for online gaming = severe lag

    using the tv instead = everything perfect, it's only through xbox app streaming, it all breaks down.

    Slow connection speed making LoveFilm streaming unusable.

    Hi - I wonder if anyone has any idea what might be going wrong with my connection speed.

    I signed up to Xbox Gold so I could use the LoveFilm streaming app - I'm regretting this now as it's unusable due to constant buffering.

    [All speeds mentioned are measured using speedof.me]

    My Internet connection is fast 65 Mb/s measured on my laptop cabled directly to the router.

    The Xbox is in another room and can't connect directly so I've been using wifi + more recently a homeplug to see if that improves performance.

    My laptop connected to the cable from the homeplug to the Xbox gets 25Mb/s, yet the xbox via wifi or the homeplug never gets any more than 2.2Mb/s which is marginal for streaming video.

    The Xbox appears to be working fine in all other respects but is too slow for streaming. The Xbox is 3-4 years old, is connection speed being limited by the Xbox hardware ?

    unfortunately most are not listening. these cretins are flooding live with **** connections due to feedback from their modded controllers

    the ones who have perfectly tweaked sticks are almost impossible to stop in fight night champion if they're not offensive.

    Connecting via win10 pc (streaming) kills xbox one download speed

    I really dont know if that makes sense or not but even if that actually is the case, there really should be something that explains this or indicates that download speeds will be limited while streaming is active. I spent a year troubleshooting this and
    dealing with the slowness as i stream almost 100% of the time as my xbox is connected to a projector that I cannot use during the day due to lighting issues. Thanks for the response though.

    Didn't they speed up the darts then slow them back down because of whineyazz helicopter pilots? The stingers are fine against the attack helis but they need to do something about the transport helis. They need to put back in where the heli has to almost
    land to be able to repair. The way it is now, they are almost impossible to shoot down due to the fact that they can be repaired in the air, especially if 2 people are repairing at once.

    I have already tried this but it hasn't fixed the slowness of the xbox. The xbox starts up OK, its just connecting to apps and lagging really bad.

    I've had your exact troubles this past week as well. I'm having trouble connecting, I am randomly disconnected and downloads are painfully slow. In fact, they are quite impossible due to the constant disconnects!

    Something is definately fishy with Live right now.
