Xbox App sign-in window flickers on and off a few times and disappears. Cannot sign into...

This is a last ditch effort as the support I got by phone was absolutely useless. I've have done basically everything you can imagine to troubleshoot this already, so please don't waste my time asking if I've reset, reinstalled, repaired, restarted my PC, signed into my Microsoft account on Windows, etc.

Every time I try to sign in anywhere in the Xbox app on PC, the gray box flickers up and off a few times and then disappears altogether until I try again. There is no way for me to sign in to the app because of this.

If anyone has had this issue and found a fix or a workaround, please let me know.

I have same problem. Since 3 months ago i cant login into my old account. Very hard and stress full to call the cumtomer service. I need to empty my bank book in oder not to allow game pass cut off my money cos i cant login into my account. I forgot my email password i mean real email password, and my contac number that attach to my old account i alrrady lost that number. Please microsoft fix our problem and let us contac u personaly so u can help us easyly. Honestly your customer service is very hard to get thru.

that didnt work either. this is ridiculous. like i am on the xbox app, signed into my Microsoft account but the window to log into my xbox account will not come up. it pops up, flickers, then disappears.

i just downloaded the Xbox app and try to login but i got the same problem the sign in window disappears after i click sign in

I have the same problem, unfortunately your solution did not help.

My Xbox sign in is also my main user account for Windows, so I cannot remove this and try again easily.

Clicking Sign In simply make the window content briefly disappear, then come back with nothing changed and still not logged in.

Signing in with my profile is working everywhere else, just not in the Xbox app, which means I've lost access to my PC software through it - I'm sure this is the same for other too.

when i try to sign in on the xbox app it just turns black, stays like that for while then anothe window appears and disappears 3 times saying "please wait" and then it just goes back to the main screen. When i tried launching forza horizon 4 it just says " you may not proceed without being signed in to a profile".
