I can sign in to my Store account in the Xbox desktop app, but I can't sign in to my microsoft account.

When I want to log in with my Microsoft account, a screen like this comes up and after a certain time it closes and returns to the xbox main menu.

Likewise, when I try to log in to my xbox console companion app account, I get the message "We can't sign in right now. Please try again later".
