    Xbox app showing wrong language


    On the xbox app on my windows 11 laptop, the "recently played with" option is showing korean text. This happens after adding the korean language under "language and region" on my laptop. I need to add korean in order to type in korean. But it will cause this glitch to happen. I think it might be a bug. Please advise.

    When I installed the korean language, I had unchecked the other optional language features and I did not set it to be a windows display language.

    whats wrong with your dashboard?

    there is no way to delete an xbox account

    you will have to create an new account if you selected the wrong region

    you can also change the locale setting on your console settings for your prefered language locally

    but only supported languages will show up on your xbox live account and marketplace

    Same problem here. I have keyboards for English and Chinese. I even have the UI overrides in the advanced language settings set to English. Specifically, the only places where I see Chinese in the app is the activity feed and achievements for Gears of War
    4. There is no Chinese anywhere else.

    I have the same problem. I have Japanese installed as a second language, but English is still my default. The only thing that seems to show up in Japanese is achievement names. Everything else is in English like it should be.

    Uninstalling the second language fixes it, but as soon as it's reinstalled the problem comes back.

    I can understand it either way of course, but it's still a weird error.

    Same problem here: changed from english to french but only for Titanfall. I'm wondering if this is because this is my only DIGITAL game? (All the rest are disc-based.) I really hope MS are aware of this and will do something to sort it out.
