XBOX App settings not showing windows 10 child account to change privacy settings

I have been pulling my hair out for hours. I purchased my daughter a laptop for Christmas and created her a child account. We both for the Windows 10 minecraft beta however I cannot accept friend requests at all on her account. As a matter of fact, I don't
    even see the friend requests.

I have gone to the xbox.com privacy page however only my account shows up there. I do have her added to family and she is logged in with the child account.

The family settings has nothing for xbox accounts, and the xbox setting page doesn't show child accounts.

    HELP!!!!!!!!

    :)

Propblems on updating my privacy settings

    Hi Fellow gamer,

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand you are trying to change your privacy settings. When it redirects you to change child settings, this means you are on a child account. You need to change the

    settings using a parent account
on either the console or a Windows 10 PC.

    Thanks,

    Brad

XBOX Live - cannot approve child account

First login to Microsoft Family settings and check if you are signed in as the adult.
To change your child’s account setting, do the following.
First, sign in to the Xbox Settings page with your adult account. Verify the ownership if asked to confirm.
Now choose the Gamertag for your child’s account to which you want to add Xbox Live account.
Click on Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety tab. Or click the Privacy tab

If the issue persists, you can try changing the privacy setting on the child account a little enough so that you can buy Xbox Live on their account. After making the purchase you may change the privacy back to child-appropriate settings.
Although this is not an ideal fix, you can use it as a workaround to till Xbox resolves the issue

    I can't play xbox multiplayer

Looks like it is just a matter of privacy settings.

To change your Xbox account privacy settings, sign in to the privacy & online safety page:

    https://account.xbox.com/settings

Set all the settings to "Allow" or "Everyone" on the three tabs:

    Privacy;

    Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One & Windows 10 Online Security;

    Xbox 360 Online Security;

Note: If you’re on a child account, you’ll need an adult in your family to sign in to their Microsoft account to change your privacy settings. This is done through the Family settings.

    https://support.xbox.com/help/family-online-saf...

See how it goes and please let me know.

    Hi

    Manage settings from Xbox.com

To change privacy and safety settings for you or a child

Sign in to the adult's Microsoft account.

If you’ve forgotten your account email address or password, see the Lost Account Solution or the Lost
    Password Solution
    .

To change settings for yourself, continue to step 5.

To change settings for a child, choose the gamertag for your child's account.

Select the tab for Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety or Privacy. Review the current settings and update any that you want to change.

Select Save before leaving or switching to another tab. If you don't save the changes before you move to the other tab, your changes won't be saved.

If you changed settings for your child, have them sign in and then sign out of their account to make the changes take effect.

Manage settings from your Xbox One console

To change privacy and safety settings for your account

    Sign in to your Xbox.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, then go to System > Settings > Account.

Under Privacy & online safety, select Xbox Live privacy.

Choose a default or customize your settings by selecting View details & customize.

To change privacy and safety settings for a child’s account

    Sign in to your Xbox.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, then go to System > Settings > Account.

Under Account, select Family settings > Manage family members.

Select the child whose settings you want to update.

Select Privacy & online safety, then choose default settings or customize by selecting View details & customize.

    Manage app privacy settings

When you download apps from the Microsoft Store, each app requires permission to access data from your console.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, then go to System > Settings > Account

Give permission by selecting the check boxes next to your apps.

If you’re signed in with a child account, you’ll need an adult to sign in and give permission for apps to access your data.

Sign in with an adult account.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, then go to System > Settings > Account > Family settings > Manage family members.

Select a child’s gamertag, then go to Privacy & online safety > App privacy to give permissions

    Kind regards
