Xbox app said I have not set up a console yet.

So I remote play games that I have on my console that I can't play on gamepass app. One day I attempted to do this and the app said it looks like I haven't set up a console yet. I had to wait till I got home to RE-setup my console. It isn't an update issue because nothing updates automatically because I want to know about the update and make sure everything is working properly after any updates before I venture away from my secure network . It is not because of another user on my console at the time because the one other person that uses it isn't on it and that the console is ready when I wish to use it. My problem is that the app "lost? " my info? What can I do to prevent this again in the future. No, nobody but me can use my device that I remote play on. Nobody can use the controller that I use for remote play and I most definitely did not delete or change anything on the device I use for remote play. Could someone on my console make my console disappear from the app?

Since it's a remote play, you can be connected to any network or even just by using your mobile data hotspot. Just make sure that you meet the required minimum speed.

Thank you for a rapid response. One last question, From "if your phone gets disconnected " to refresh will I have to be on the same network or can this be done remotely?

Hi Sean!

There are several factors which could cause your remote play to reset or refresh where you had to reconnect it. Just make sure that your console is connected to a stable internet connection and remove the other added accounts to your console.

If your phone gets disconnected from remote play, you may not need to redo the steps from your console, simply swipe down your screen at least twice or thrice to refresh your console's list then reconnect to your designated console.
