xbox app remote play issues on android

xbox app keep dropping connection during remote play. all devices and app have been updated, cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled. the actual remote play works for a few seconds b4 dropping but i only know this from using the app while watching the tv screen on xbox console as the controller will actually move around the screen but this movement never displays on the phone. then app continuously says "lost connection to server check internet connection". internet connection is fine on both ends, no outages and all services working on all tests. after a few times app freezes completely. anyone else having this issue or know how to fix?

Huh? Remote Play is nothing to do with Xcloud or Game Pass. And if it won't work, then how can they get it working on their Android device? And they have an Xbox so that's not the issue.

They are trying to Remote Play their Series X games from their Series X console to their PC via the Remote Play feature and using the Xbox App. This should work without an issue, as it does with their Android device. There is nothing on the Remote Play page to suggest Game Pass is needed

Also, you don't have a way to change the setting of the Xbox Adaptive Controller on the cloud gaming with Android devices or Apple devices on the remote play or on the Xbox app.

Instead of providing an answer or resolution, this message tells me how to ask elsewhere for help.

I've submitted a help request on the Xbox platform and have heard nothing.

I contacted Netflix and they said not to use the Android Xbox app, but to use the remote control. That would eliminate the value of the Android Xbox app for me. I use it only to remotely control the Xbox.

Because android tv box with the exception of chrome cast and nvidia shield doesn't exsist you have media tek based android boxes

It has to be Google play compatible and certified which most phones and tablets are

Android box which usually runs outdated android wouldn't be compatible

Most are still stuck on android 10

You need something with the latest android
