    Like we record games, I wanted to record an app demo on Xbox. However, when I snap the Game DVR onto my app, the start new clip button is always disabled for apps. Does anybody have any idea why and what are the options to record an app on XBox ?

    Game Captures show up in Xbox, but not in Windows App

    I decided to record one of my recent Call of Duty matches to show off a class. So, I used the capture feature on my Xbox. I looked in the Recent Captures menu and looked over my recording, to make sure that the recording was a good quality (it was). I then
    went to my computer, with the Xbox App, so that I could take the recording and edit it into a video. However, the recording wasn't there. The capture showed up on the actual Xbox, but not the Xbox App.

    How can I see and access my game recordings on my computer?

    Currently the Xbox Game DVR app does not support recording party chat.

    You will have to use external hardware and software to capture party chat and ingame sound/video, like an ElGato.
    Hey thanks for answering currently I use a USB 3.0 to record and a voice recording app on my pc then I insert it in my editing software

    Xbox needs better recording apps

    (any store developer out here you know what do to)
