    Ok I have a PC with a I7 - 5700 , gtx 970 16 gig ram 512gd ssd in raid..

    I want to know if I buy a gigabit ethernet switch, cat 6 cables will the streaming from the xbox one streaming app utilize that extra speed as to lower latency and network issues? they will be the only thing on the switch and a line is directly ran from
    the modem to the modem.

    No, it's not the game streaming that's not working. I've never had an issue streaming with the Xbox app on PC. It's the new Wireless Display app on Xbox One that I'm having the issue with. My PC just will not connect to it.
