    Xbox app PC not Signing in


    Hi guys

    I have a strange situation with the Xbox app on PC

    according to the setting page i am Logged in with my Store account which is my normal email attached to my Game Pass Subscription but section

    above "Microsoft Account (used for xbox)" just has the Sign In button, I click it an nothing happens, I cannot install any games at the moment i believe because of this half signed in half signed out state that the app is currently in

    I have tried all the methods shown online, with uninstall/re-install the app. restarting the xbox services in Windows Services and trying some of the powershell / CMD promt commands to clear data/cashes

    What am i missing?

    usually im automatically signed in and my icon changes to a pic of lara croft but at the moment its just not doing anything when i click sign in

    any ideas

    Hi Elias!

    Is this your first time trying to sign in to the Xbox app on PC?

    As our workaround, please download an Xbox app on your mobile phone. Once downloaded, please sign in your account there. Once done, relaunch your Xbox app on PC and try signing in your account again.

    There is no solution it's exactly as you been told

    Gamepass cannot be shared on pc period HOWEVER JESSIE iS incorrect in a way

    Yes it can't be shared however to download the game he must sign into the profile with gamepass and then download the game when done he MUST sign into his account on the xbox app not the PC

    SO DONOT sign out of the pc just the xbox app

    Then sign in as himself on the zbox app

    how can you play games from console on your PC?

    sign into the kids account on pc, open xbox app, sign out of xbox app and sign in with your account, download forza 5, once done sign out of xbox app and back in with your childs account, they can now launch and play the games, you have been able to share windows games and xbox app games and gamepass pc games with other accounts for a very long time.

    Kindly sign out both on Xbox App and on Microsoft Store App then restart your PC before signing back in.
