Xbox app parties are not working

Hey,

I was trying to join a party on the Xbox app, but it says to "update the app to use the latest version of parties" or something like that. I have already updated my iPhone and app, I have tried reinstalling(multiple times) and resetting my phone. Any ideas?

- Also, it was working like a month ago

The Xbox App works with party chat.

Have you tried shutting down any apps that may be running in the backround?

That generic support doesn't really apply here. The problem is with a PC microphone, not an Xbox One microphone. The Xbox App on PC detects the mic and it works if I start a party via the app, but it doesn't work in any capacity on the Xbox One for parties
or game chat.

I have a different problem with the party app. Me and my friend joined a party and it said he was connecting and then we left the party and then it had an x on his name when we came back to the party and we couldn't hear each other, then now it won't even
let him invite me to the party.

I don't have an answer unfortunately, but I am experiencing the same problem as you. It just started about an hour and a half ago. The status page status that "social & gaming" features are limited, so I'm hoping that that's the reason why and it's fixed
soon.

Xbox app parties are not working
