    I recently opened a game connected with my Xbox app and it opened my internet browser to show me news. How can I make it stop doing such things? I don't want the app to do anything outside the app itself.

    Xbox One - Twitch App Black Screen Issue.

    I've been using the Twitch app on my Xbox One for months without issues until about 2 weeks ago.
    Anytime I go into a broadcast the chat is the only thing working, video is completely black and never loads.

    Have un-installed / re-installed the app multiple times. Removed / deleted all saved items on my Xbox One including all keys / content in my profile on Twitch website. Rebooted my modem / router. Still same issue.

    When using the Twitch app on my Xbox 360 or through any web browser everything works fine.

    Any suggestions ? Have a ticket open with Twitch support but haven't received a reply back for almost a week now.

    It is possible that an incorrect settings caused this issue on your Xbox app. For us to isolate the main issue, we would like to confirm if this issue happens when you're accessing a specific game only? Meanwhile, following the steps below will help us correct
    your Xbox app settings:

    Step 1: Run the troubleshooter for Windows Apps on your computer by clicking the Run troubleshooter button on this link.
    This process will check and resolve common issues with the apps on your PC.

    Step 2: Reset the Windows Store to clear the Store cache.

    1. Press Windows key + X on your keyboard.
    2. Click on Command prompt (Admin).
    3. Type wsreset.exe, and then hit Enter.

    Step 3: Uninstall and reinstall the Xbox App to update it.

    1. Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.
    2. Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.
    3. Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage.
    4. Hit Enter.
    5. Launch Windows Store and download the Xbox App.
    6. Open the game on the Xbox App.

    Xbox App Sign-In Trouble

    So I just fixed this issue ... I am using ios

    I opened up the default browser (safari in my case) and noticed it was trying to sign me in with the typo email on live.microsoft.com

    So I signed in with the correct account and went back to the app ... now the login screen reset to the beginning. After logging into my gamepass app I was also able to login automatically to the xbox app as well.

    So just open your default browser on your phone and log into the correct account

    Unfortunately, in all of their infinite wisdom, twitch have decided to make it no longer possible to chat on the console app. This is why the qr code opens the app on your phone. They don't want people to chat on consoles or tv apps anymore. Also now on my Xbox app I cant enter full screen. I'm forced to open the edge browser and watching twitch on there.
