Xbox app on Windows 10

I want to sign on my xbox app on my windows 10 computer but it wont let me. I can load up the app then it crashes instantly and says we can't sign you in right now try again later. There is an error code but I searched it and it isn't found. When
I press the sign in button, it reloads the page but the same stuff is still on the page. Its been like this for a few weeks now. Please help ( the error code is: (0x409) 0x80080300

Changing gamer tag

You can't change a gamertag into a previously owned one but you could sign in to the Windows 10 Xbox app with the old one though.

Can the Windows Store verify an existing installation of game(s) downloaded previously or from files from another computer? Similar to Steam et al

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, you will need to click the install to download any digital content for PC.

If you have a Windows 10 device, you can now use the Xbox app to connect to the Xbox Live service.
