Xbox app on windows 10 not signing in

I have tried every option to fix this. Every recommendation. I've tried re-downloading the app, removing and adding accounts and it still doesn't work.

I've contacted support and its a rare problem. Any idea on whats going on... Error code is 0x87DD0013

New Xbox Term of Use for Xbox Live and loss of Gamertag

If you sign in on Xbox.com, the xbox app on Windows 10, or the Xbox smartglass app that will count as signing into your account and preserve your GT.

Windows 10 Xbox app will not let me send messages. Help!

Hi Shadowed Figure,

Please give us an insight to the steps that were already taken.

I would recommend signing out of the app then
signing back in if this step has not been taken yet.

To sign out:

Three lines > Settings > Account >
Sign out

Also, go to the Xbox app on Windows 10:

1. Click on the 3 lines

2. click on Settings

3. Go to Network

What does it say under Xbox Multiplayer?

Hey smitty2k7,

Unfortunately I don't have any workarounds that may help to resolve this. When did this issue start, and have you previously been able to sign in to the Xbox App successfully?

You can also try downloading the Beta version of the Xbox App (if you're using the standard version) and that may help to resolve the issue.

You can't change a gamertag into a previously owned one but you could sign in to the Windows 10 Xbox app with the old one though.
