    Xbox App on Windows 10 keeps crashing


    I have been trying to download my captures on my Xbox app for the last few hours. Every time I start downloading the captures the app crashes. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Nothing seems to work. If anyone can help me try to
    get it to work I would really appreciate it

    I have the same problem. Even deleting ALL messages using Smartglass Beta did not help - Xbox App keeps crashing as soon as I go to the messages section. On Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile.

    Hi,

    Issues with Xbox app may occur if the app is corrupted. To resolve your concern, here are solutions that you can perform on your computer:

    Solution 1. Run the troubleshooter for Windows Apps on your computer by clicking the run troubleshooter button on this link.

    Solution 2. Reset Windows Store to clear store cache.

    1. Press Windows key + X on your keyboard.   
    2. Click on Command prompt (Admin).   
    3. Type wsreset.exe, and then hit Enter.   

    Solution 3. Uninstall and reinstall Xbox app again to update it.

    1. Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.  
    2. Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.  
    3. Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage  
    4. Hit Enter.  
    5. Launch Windows Store and download Xbox App.
