    Xbox App on Windows 10 Crashes when clicking on game


    My Xbox App crashes every time I click on a game on the main menu. The app stays active and I can navigate throughout the app until I click on any game in the main window. Already Installed games do not have an issue launching. I'm currently unable to install anything new in the app. I've already tried the following

    - Repaired Xbox App

    - Uninstalled/Reinstalled Xbox app

    - Repaired Microsoft Store

    - Updated all Apps through the MS store.

    - I'm up to date on all Patches and versions of Windows 10

    - Tried logging in as another account (same issue)

    A little more information. It appears to also crash when ever I click on play with gamepass. I have gamepass Ultimate on my account. The app crashes whether I'm logged in or not when clicking on play with gamepass

    Would really appreciate some help as I'm at a loss for other troubleshooting efforts I can do.

    I've run both an SFC scan and a DISM health check and found no corruption. Would think restoring an OS from disk would be overkill for an issue that appears to be contained within one app is a little overkill. I've even added gamepass for PC to a second account and I get the same results.

    I'm still getting the same issue after repairing the gaming service and issuing the command from the PowerShell as the administrator. It seems to crash the app whenever I click on anything to do with gamepass from the main screen. Even clicking on my subscription crashes the app.

    Interestingly enough If I click on the All PC games and try and download from there I'm able to click the install button and get past the app crashing.

    I believe the restore can help mate.

    Step 1: Click Update & security on the Settings page to continue.

    Step 2: Click Recovery and click Get Started on the right to continue.

    Step 3: Choose Keep my files to reset your PC.

    Step 4: Read the subsequent messages and click Reset.

    After the computer has restarted successfully, you have refreshed Windows 10.

    So I did a full restore and the issue is now resolved. I truly appreciate your help on the matter. Its just disappointing that you need to restore an OS to fix an isolated application issue. I wish there was a better way. Thanks again!!!!!
