Xbox App on Windows 10 can't even see Xbox One on Wired Home Network!

I've got a Windows 10 PC with a wired connection to my home router.

I got an Xbox One about 10 days ago, also with a wired connection to my home router.

For the first week, the Xbox App recognised my Xbox One and I was able to stream from the Xbox to the PC.

A few days ago, on starting up the PC and Xbox, the Xbox App could no longer see my Xbox One, even when I input the IP address.

Both devices, their wired connections, and the router, are working perfectly, apart from this glitch.

I have, of course, restarted the PC, the Xbox, and the router, but still nothing.

    Help, please.

    :)

My Xbox One isn't visible in the Xbox app on Windows 10 but is on same model laptop

    HI all,

I can't see my Xbox One in the Xbox app or the Xbox beta app on my Windows 10 laptop, but I can successfully see my Xbox one on another laptop of exactly the same model and brand on the same network.

I am definitely on the same subnet as the Xbox one, I've tried rebooting, updating the Xbox app on the PC and everything. The network type is "private" on both laptops and i've tried both wireless and wired. Both work on the other laptop, neither work
    on the new one.

The only difference is the laptop which doesn't see the Xbox One is on Windows 10 1511, whereas the other laptop is on the first version of Windows 10.

    please help!

  3. Xbox One S branché avec un fil vers un PC non gamer

I'm going to buy the Xbox One this Christmas. I have a PC (Core I5, 2.5 to 2.7 GHz, Intel HD Graphics 620, Windows 10, 128 GB). I have the Xbox Windows 10 application. Microsoft.fr they say this: How to use the game broadcast in the Xbox application under
Windows 10, The game broadcast is the ability to play Xbox One games remotely from your Xbox One console on any PC Windows 10 on your home network.

This feature allows you to play your favorite Xbox One games anywhere even after leaving your stay, keeping access to your home network.

Gameplay uses the power of the Xbox One console to manage the game. Your Windows 10 PC becomes a second remote screen, so you can move around your home by enjoying your Xbox One console and your games.

    Required configuration

To take advantage of the game broadcast, you need the following:

Xbox One console: Game play must be enabled in Settings.

Windows 10 PC: You must be connected to the Xbox application with the same gamertag as the Xbox One console.

Network Connectivity: The Windows 10 PC and the Xbox One console must be on the same home network. Options:

Wired - Ethernet connection (recommended for both a PC and an Xbox One console)

    Wireless - 802.11 N / AC wireless connection

For ideal performance, your Windows 10 PC should ideally have:

At least 2 GB of RAM

    1.5 GHz or faster processor

Network connection to your home network:

    Optimal performance: wired Ethernet connection

Good performance: wireless - 802.11 N or 802.11 AC 5 GHz wireless access point

Limited performance: wireless - 2.4 GHz 802.11 N or 802.11 AC wireless access point

Note If a wired connection is not practical in your home because of the distance between your console and your home network device, you can invest in one of two additional options that take advantage of existing cabling in your home:

Power Network Adapters: These adapters allow you to use your home's existing wired network as a high-speed wired network.

MoCA (Multimedia over Coax): These adapters allow you to use your home's existing coaxial cable network as a high-speed wired network.

How to start game play from your Xbox One on your Windows 10 PC

I will connect the Xbox One S with a wire and the pc which I showed the configurations, I can (it must be a PC Gamer?)?

Network Connectivity: The Windows 10 PC and the Xbox One console must be on the same home network. Options:

    Xbox app on windows 10

    Hi JB,

Thanks for keeping us updated regarding this situation. It is very odd but we are here to help! Try to use a wired
network if possible. You’ll always get the highest-quality video, lowest-latency gameplay, and least interference when
    streaming over
a wired Ethernet network. If possible, connect both your Windows 10 PC and your Xbox One console to your home network with Ethernet cables.

    Side Note:
If you can’t create a wired connection because of the distance between your console and your home networking device, the following two options might help. Consider investing
in one of these to help you take advantage of the existing wiring in your home:

    Powerline network adapters.
These adapters enable you to use the existing electrical wiring of your home as a high-speed wired network.

    Multimedia over Coax (MoCA).
These adapters enable you to use the existing coaxial cable wiring of your home as a high-speed wired network.

Hello BotheredPants88! Of course you can play in Romania.

    You will need :

    • • Windows 10 PC: You must be signed in to the Xbox Console Companion app with the same gamertag as on the Xbox One console.
    • Network connectivity: The Windows 10 PC and the Xbox One console must be on the same home network. Options:

xbox one s - streaming to pc drops every 10 min.

Wireless network quality will have an impact on your game streaming experience. Try the following solutions in this order:

    1. If possible, connect both your Xbox One console and your PC over a wired Ethernet connection.
    2. If a wired connection isn’t possible, try lowering the quality level. For information on how to change your quality, see

How to use game streaming in the Xbox app on Windows 10
      .
    3. To try to improve your game streaming experience, see
Improve Xbox app for Windows 10 game streaming performance
      .
    4. Finally, try the Test streaming option for additional suggestions for your specific network configuration:
      • Select Connection, select your Xbox One console, and then select
Test streaming. The Xbox app will test the streaming connection and report its results.
