Xbox app on Win10 will not allow me to sign into my account?

Hello all!

I recently tried to log in with my xbox account on PC and each time that I do, it shows me that my email address associated with the account is there but says that it cannot sign in and to try again later.. Flash forward to later and we are still experiencing the issue. Is this common? Does anyone have a fix for it?

Hey again!

With no luck, I am getting the same popup when I launch the companion app as well.

Press the Windows Button then type Services.

Right-click over the Services App from the list of results.

Then select Run as Administrator

Scroll to the bottom and find the following services:

IP Helper

Xbox Live Auth Manager,

Xbox Live Game Save,

Xbox Live Networking Service,

Gaming Services.

Do this with each of the services listed above.

Right-click over the service and select Properties.

Find the Startup type section and make sure it’s set to Automatic.

If the service isn’t started, click Start to start the services.

Click Apply and OK to save changes.

Restart your PC and try again, please.

Hey, Kade!

Close the Xbox app and open/install the Xbox Companion app, try to log into your Xbox Companion account, open the Xbox app and see if you can now log in to your account.

Open File Explorer.

Navigate to the following:

C:\Users\[your profile]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider_cw5n1h2txyewy\AC\TokenBroker

Delete the Accounts and Cache folders and try again, please.
