Xbox-app on win10 and installation of Flight Sim..

Hi!

I have an issue with this combo, where I'm not able to download and install Flight Sim from the Xbox-app.

I have tried changing my securitysettings on my harddrives, changed owner of them all and such., Even tried reinstalling windows a moment ago. Still nothing.

All I get is "Fel 100% - Visa Förlopp" (Yeah im swedish ^^,)..

When I view the error it is ALWAYS the same one,

"Vänta i några minuter och försök sedan igen.

Uppdateringen misslyckades.

Hitta hjälp för detta"..

I have tried searching for this errorcode but nothing other people suggests work for me.

Before when I could download via MS Store, it worked. But it's something with this new app..

Tx. Like you, I have no need for Xbox , I just want to play flight sim. But ... I was forced to install the Xbox (beta) app to get the Flight sim work.

You can also download any of the Game Pass games via the store. The app is mostly a front end

Usually this error is caused when your computer is not fully updated or if you already installed the game on another device with the same account or on your laptop/computer and did not correctly uninstalled it.

First, see if Windows is updated:

Open Settings > Update and security > Windows Update > Check for updates. Install any optional update too.

After that, would you please see if there is any older device linked to your Microsoft Account?

Go to https://account.microsoft.com/devices, sign in, and search for any old device.

Select Show details > More actions > Remove.

Select I'm ready to remove this device > Remove.

After that, go to: https://account.microsoft.com/devices/content and remove the old device from this too.

Find the device you want to remove and select Unlink.

Also, please make sure that if you had previous versions of Microsoft Flight Simulator installed on your computer, you completely uninstall it before trying to install again.

If the issue still persists, please let me know so we can proceed troubleshooting this.

If series s/x for flight SIM 2020 yes

.if for Xbox one then only works with xbox one games not cloud like flight sim

You can install flight sim on xbox series consoles

Outstanding! This worked for me. I downloaded the xBox free app and it then allowed me to 'see' the flight update when I clicked the Get Updates icon upper right of store. Once the xBox app was installed go back and open flight sim and it then shows the update just like all other times updates are available when you open the sim.
