Xbox App on PC will not install Astroneer

I am having an issue getting the xbox app to install the game pass version of Astroneer on my PC.

I have a valid and active game pass subscription.

I have installed other game pass games to the drive I am using.

When I click "Install" the xbox app will show the button greyed out and "Starting" then the button will return to green and say "Install". I also get a xbox message saying that Astroneer has been successfully installed.

I open the windows store and navigate to downloads and watch when I try to download Astroneer it says "Repair Needed"

I tried uninstalling the windows store and xbox app via powershell, restarting, and installing. The issue remains.

I had this issue around a year ago, but in my case all my games were having this exact issue not only one. I could tell you all the 10 steps I followed to solve it, unfortunately what helped me to solved this was to restart my PC as it comes here:

In the part of Windows 10 click on "Reset this PC" these instructions will help you to solve the problem, you can even leave your important files!

I would also try if you haven't making sure to let the developers know that you are having this issue. And just to make sure we have all relevant details:

Could you let me know what operating system you are using?
Could you let me know If you've only downloaded from the Microsoft store app, or if you've tried downloading and installing through the Xbox app or launching from the Desktop as well?
It would also be good to go ahead and start a support ticket with the developers just in case they may have a fix for this on their end. Astroneer | A Game of Aerospace Industry and Interplanetary Exploration

Just in case I am also downloading Astroneer from the Xbox Store app then the Microsoft Store app to see if I can reproduce the issue. Which as I am typing now it worked fine after downloading from the Xbox app on Windows 11, will be trying from the Microsoft store app here soon and the Xbox app on Windows 10.

No worries, on that. Could you confirm that you've contacted the developer support for Astroneer as well and if you have if they have confirmed that the source of the issue is from our end or not just in case. And I presume that this is an issue only occuring with this game specifically, any other games you have downloaded run and work fine?
