Xbox app on pc not downloading/pausing/canceling new games?

I just want to confirm, may I know if you already tried all the other 2 replies with possible solutions provided by Tomm_A besides the one marked as helpful?

If that's the case we can try something that can help to isolate the problem a bit. This is create a new local administrator user in your PC and then try to install a game there

Hi Manuela, thanks for trying to help.
I did try out the other solutions provided by Tomm_A and also the one you suggested, but whenever I open the xbox app I am met with the stuck downloads which I can't cancel. Sometimes I get a notification saying I m missing xbox gaming components but even after i install them the notification doesn't disappear.
Other games on Steam, for example, work just fine.

Sorry for the wait but I wanted to make sure I finshed some important projects before messing with the system.
I tried your solution but unfortunately it didn't work
As soon as I opened the Xbox app it wame in the same state as before.
