Xbox app on PC keeps saying "We can't get updates from Riot Client right now"

Hi, so I wanted to try Teamfight Tactics, which required me to install the Riot Client, and I linked my Xbox and Riot accounts so I could benefit from the PC Game Pass unlocks, so far so good. I didn't really like the game so I uninstalled it along with the client, and now my Xbox app keeps saying "We can't get updates from Riot Client right now" (see image below).

I tried unlinking my accounts, resetting/uninstalling the Xbox app, reinstalling the Riot client to try again and see if it would change, but all this to no avail. The only "solution" I found is to have the Riot client installed and let it be opened along with the Xbox app, which I'm totally not okay with. Any help? Thanks.

Hi,

I actually followed this tutorial when I noticed the Riot client was being opened along with the Xbox app, but that was when I was considering getting into TFT. The tutorial worked but brought up the notification (which makes sense, so I was fine with that then, but now that I've chosen not to keep playing TFT, I want the Riot client and everything related gone, but that means having the notification).

Sign into your microsoft account then restart xbox app. Works everytime!
