Xbox app on PC doesn't let me login.

Thank you for the speedy reply. Unfortunately I've already seen this solution posted in another thread, but unfortunately it didn't work for me.

I've redone all the steps again, just to be sure but with no luck.

Would it be possible for the power management tools to be at fault here? I haven't had this problem on the desktop pc and honestly this is the only difference I could think of. Other than that both pc and the laptop have the same version of windows 11, all fully updated, etc.

I have searched the web for some possible solutions and here are some steps you can try:

• Make sure Xbox services are running. The Xbox app for Windows relies on certain background services to work on your PC.
  
  • Press the Windows Button then type Services.
    
  • Right-click over the Services App from the list of results.
    
  • Then select Run as Administrator
    
  • Scroll to the bottom and find the following services: IP Helper, Xbox Live Auth Manager, Xbox Live Game Save, Xbox Live Networking Service, Gaming Services.
    
  • Do this with each of the services listed above.
    
  • Right-click over the service and select Properties.
    
  • Find the Startup type section and make sure it’s set to Automatic.
    
  • If the service isn’t started, click Start to start the services.
    
  • Click Apply and OK to save changes.
    
  • Restart your PC and try again.
    
• Run Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter. The Windows Store Apps troubleshooter is a useful tool for detecting and fixing common problems with Windows apps.
  
  • Press the Windows Button then type Troubleshoot Settings.
    
  • Select Troubleshoot Settings from the list of results.
    
  • Click Additional troubleshooters on the right pane.
    
  • Find and select Windows Store Apps from the list of troubleshooters.
    
  • Click Run the troubleshooter and follow the on-screen instructions.
    
  • Restart your PC and try again.

Re-login in the Xbox app doesn't help and if you power cycling means restarting the pc, it doesn't help too.

Yo I'm having the same problem. I just dropped 2200 on a pc and when I try to login with my same info on the xbox app as I have on my actual xbox, it only lets me sign in with some randomly generated one the system gives me. I have no clue what to do lmao it's ****. It doesn't even let me sign in with the option to use another account.
