Xbox app on new pc build unable to sign in, done everything online…

Just built a new gaming pc and I can’t sign in, at first it kept sending me a “card is expiring soon” which it has for like a year, then nothing , can’t even click the green “sign in”

At one time I got an error code of 0X800701F4.. so I did all the internet said regarding both. Reinstalled windows , installed windows 11, bios update, everything I can imagine. Nooo luck

Yes, tried uninstalling, all that, I can not sign into my son’s account. I click the sign in and the screen flashes white fir a millisecond and tells me my card is ready to expire.

I tried turning off the firewall and all secretaries. I feel like that’s got something to do with it.

I mean I even reinstalled windows on a different hard drive

So, after 3 days of multiple fresh installs, firmware updates, downloading games and game launchers..

I find out that Xbox pass will no longer let me sign in on any account on any computer while my Seagate 5TB external HDD is hooked up???

I really am dumbfounded at this point

Before we begin the troubleshooting process I would like to ask if you have attempted to uninstall and reinstall the Xbox app from the Microsoft Store? Also are using a local account on your pc or are you logged in with the same Microsoft account you are trying to log into the Xbox App with?
