Xbox app on my pc keeps giving me an error code when i try to install games

Open Accounts

Click Sign-in Options

Scroll down to Privacy

Uncheck "Use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device and reopen my apps after an update and restart."

Restart your PC

Hi Christopher. Sadly this was not helpful.

I had the exact same problem but with the installation of Halo Infinite. Error code 0x00000001 on Windows 11(fully updated).

Things i tried so far:

-restart the PC

-Uncheck "Use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device and reopen my apps after an update and restart."

-remove and reinstall Microsoft Store via Powershell

-remove and reinstall Xbox App via Powershell

-disable delivery optimization feature

-remove and reinstall Gaming Services

-Make sure Date, Time, Time Zone and Region Is Correct On PC

-Make sure are logged in with same account on Microsoft Store and Xbox App

-Logout from Xbox app and Microsoft Store app and login again

-Run wsreset command

-Reset Xbox app and MS Store

-Update Xbox App from Microsoft Store

-Make sure Xbox Identity Provider and Gaming services is installed

-Repair/Reset gaming Services

-stop, restart and configure to run automatically to all these services: IP Helper, Xbox Live Auth Manager, Xbox Live Game Save, Xbox Live Networking Service, Gaming services, Windows Update, Microsoft install service

-Run Windows Store Troubleshooter

As you can see, i have tried so many things with no positive results. I am considering a refund of the game, because, at an examle, the same game in the Steam Platform works flawlessly.

The last thing i should try is remote assistance, but i can´t because of my work hours. I have to wait until my free days to try.

My setup is Windows 11 fully updated and activated, i do not use any third party antivirus, and my system specs exceeds widely the requirements of the game. Internet or connection problems are not applicable since i have redundant access with two different providers(tested all of these with the two providers separately)

i have done numerous steps to try and correct the xbox app not installing games on pc, i keep getting error code 0x80073d0d, any soloutions to this problem

hi, i'm using windows 11. no error on installing it, but when i tried to un-install the re-install it was not in control panel -programs and features, when i found the folder in C" drive it will not let me in it says file corrupted in user settings and to delete it but it does not give me an option to do so. during campaign play it will freeze up then crash to desktop. one time i got a fatal scale error then it crashed, sometimes when trying to start the game it will crash, is there anyway to un-install it?. this is a fresh install of windows 11 and it is only happening with age of empires. i have not tried the xbox pc app because this is the first time i have bought a game online, i went to the microsoft store to re-install it. i now found the xbox app and it shows i have 2 age of empires installed and it gives me option to un-install it., i will try that but keep giving me ideas thanx josef see below

I was able to uninstall the Xbox app, but it gives me the same error when trying to install games, even from the Microsoft Store instead of the Xbox app.
