Xbox app on my PC asking for 4 digit code, but I only have a 6 digit code

I hope I got your question right,...

It gives 6 digit pin, all you need to do is entering new code you want and then head back to the app to sign in. The pin the app asking you about is the same pin you use to log in to your PC/Account (I believe you can click sign in with another way if you
prefer another way to log in.).

Is says sign in and go to a link but it doesn't ask me for the 8 digit code

I have an 8 digit cod and there is only a 6 and 10 digit code box

Yeah, both are same in the same network, and I have used that method to add my Xbox to the app, but, the moment to use it to install games, and other functions of the app, it asks me for the 6 digit or 10 digit code.

There's no way to get past it other than put the code on it.

So what do I do?

Thanks, I just tried that and was told they cannot help on their end.

I was sent a link that says to enter any 6 digit code 3 times and the console will give me the option to change it.

Thing is, it's asking for a 4 digit code and it doesn't ask if I want to change anything, it just keeps saying try again.

you use the number excluding the 4 that isn't part of the number

(not in the same row)

the security code is in the back is the last 3 digits that is in the back

thats the one you must use for xbox

i had to do the same for netflix

i think the 4 digit code is more for internal amex cause only amex has ever asked me for that code
