Xbox App on iPhone: Can't sign in

I have a question/troubleshoot the Xbox game app on my phone

iPhone info: iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 14.2

Xbox app version: 2009.1009.1918

So the problem is entering my password. It won't accept my password. This password works in Gamepass app, xbox sign-in, and on the Microsoft web pages.

My guess is that my password is too long, and the sign-in on the Xbox app is truncating the last few letters and submits the wrong passcode.

I tried turning the phone and Xbox on and off with no success.

Same here, I can connect using XBox.com but I can't use the XBox LIVE app on my IPhone, any clues? Tried a password change and the MS Authenticator doesn't help either....stuck in a loop of request password, enter password, request password.

#EDIT# I tried removing the app and reinstalling rather than just updating...who knows why that worked but it did!

Hi,

I had a similar problem a couple of years ago with a different Microsoft application.

Firstly, try uninstalling the application and reinstalling.

I'd then try updating your password with something shorter (but secure) and testing with the alternate password.

I can't find any XBOX ONE Smartglass app,for my android phone.

But I know there is for the iPhone......
