Xbox App on IOS says it wants permission for Bluetooth Access

I think it's really dumb that my new Bluetooth Xbox One S controller won't pair with the Bluetooth on my iPhone, I was really hoping to use the controller with these new apps for iOS because I am not good with the touch feature in most these games.

Hmm, when I looked at the update earlier today it gave specific instructions on how to get Smartglass on your iOS (access it through My Xbox app). Now they're saying that its not yet available for iOS. So I guess this is not the Smartglass app yet. Regardless,
the additions to the My Xbox app still appear to have been added by monkeys.

Question: on your phone, is the app permitted to access your local network?

Check your mobile device settings outside the Minecraft app, and make sure that the app's permissions include "Access to Local Network". That should hopefully fix the problem.
