    Xbox app on Android phone won't complete the login


    I am unable to login to the Xbox app on my Android phone.

    My account is fine. I know my credentials. They work on my Xbox. They work on my windows PC's.

    They even work on my Android phone. And, in fact, when I launch the Xbox app, it shows me as being logged in and asks if that's the account I want to continue with.

    If I tap it, it pops up a window that asks if I'm trying to sign in to Xbox App. I have two options "Continue" or "Cancel".

    Doesn't matter which option I tap - nothing happens. It just sits on this window. If I tap the continue button enough times in a row it eventually tells me that something went wrong and they're unable to sign me in right now. No sh*t. Then it goes on to say too many login attempts, and tells me my account is on temporary hold and to try again later.

    If I try logging in with a different account, it walks me through the login process and then when it goes to authenticate the credentials, I just get the moving dots indicating it's thinking about something... Forever. I've let it sit there for two hours and it never actually does anything.

    Yes, I've tried deleting the app cache. Yes I've tried deleting the app storage. Yes, I've uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. Yes I've rebooted the phone. Yes, I've done all these things separately individually, and I've tried doing them all at the same time. Nothing makes a difference. It's pretty [expletive deleted] annoying.

    What kind of phone? Currently it's only available in the Xbox beta app on Android. If you have an iphone it won't work.
