Xbox app on Android phone signs me out of Xbox Live on Xbox One

Hello,

Ever since the most recent update on my Android phone for the Xbox app, I will be"signed in elsewhere" on my Xbox One if I so much as start the app on my phone. This is incredibly annoying as I often use the app for various things that I don't regularly
do on my Xbox One, such as pasting admin commands for Ark: Survival Evolved.

When I am "signed in elsewhere" it of course rips me from everything that is happening on my Xbox One, making the app not only useless, but a complete hindrance. This NEVER happened before the new Xbox app. I have tried the forums here, and even google searches
for the past month, and it seems as though I am the only person with this issue?

I noticed it wouldn't display your profile picture the last two days but they fixed it.

Since yesterday morning though, the My Xbox Live App for android on Samsung smartphones doesn't work (but the Xbox 1 smart glass app does). I use these apps for checking on Xbox stuff when I'm away from home. With the My Xbox Live App for Samsung android
when I click on the sign in screen I get this

LIVE

Couldn't sign in to Xbox LIVE. Please try again.

Sign in.

I've tried and un-install and installed the app again from Playstore. Still the same thing. Do note that the Xbox One Smart glass app does work when I launch it away from home on my phone. Also the
Xbox 360 smart glass app works fine for when I want to use my phone as a remote for my 360 slim console.

Mistakes

This error indicates that the Android phone is not able to use the app. For more information, see the app's requirements:

When you try to sign in to Xbox Live on Android, you receive an error message

In case of problems accessing Xbox SmartGlass:

Make sure you can successfully log on to Xbox.com in a Web browser.

Note: If you have forgotten your account credentials, see Locate the Microsoft account or password.

If you have the correct credentials, but still can not access, try the solutions in Troubleshooting connectivity issues and performance of SmartGlass on mobile devices.

If using the above solutions the problem is not resolved, contact Xbox Customer Support.

Sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with signing in and out of Xbox Live when your Xbox App device connects. Are you currently part of the Xbox One Update Preview by chance? If so let's get you over on the

Yes. The Xbox I am using is part of the Xbox Preview Program.
