    Xbox app not working on Windows 10


    I have spent over an hour on a live chat and tried all the suggestions they gave me to rectify but to no avail. When I try to open Xbox app and click sign in it just resets to same screen. Also when trying to click need help it does the same. Underneath
    says we are unable to sign you in at the moment. Try again later. (0x406)

    I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it is still the same.

    Thank you for your reply. Xbox Accessories App is only available on Windows 10, you need to upgrade your system to Windows 10 for you to download the app. If your Hair Trigger is still not working after upgrading your system and installing Xbox Accessories
    App, we would suggest that you contact the developer of the game.

    Hey there Zenon156,

    Thanks for sticking with us. There should be an update that recently came out for the Xbox App that might help with the issues that you're are seeing. Are you able to check that your Xbox App is up to date? In Settings in the app it should say Version 28.28.28008.0.
    Let us know if that helps with what you're seeing. We have a team that is looking into this further and we'll be happy to pass on any info if you are still running into trouble.

    Which app are you talking about. If it's Xbox or the Xbox companion app on Windows 10, just right click the icon of the app, and select uninstall (only works on latest version of Windows 10)

    Hi McGrizzle,

    sorry to hear. Please try first to reset the store cache like this:

    1. Press the Windows + R keys on your keyboard to open the
      Run
    2. Type wsreset.exe in the box, and click OK or press
      Enter - this reset the Windows Store cache.
    3. When this is done, reboot your system for the changes to take effect.
    4. Try to download again via XBOX (Beta) - if it fails try it via the store.

    If this does not fix the Problem, download and try
    "AppsServicesTroubleshooter" to repair with the Store related services and the
    Store.
