Xbox App Not Working After Android Oreo Update

Hi,

I have a new Samsung S9 with the Oreo os. I used to have a Samsung S7 with Nougat. On Nougat, the xbox app worked perfectly. Now, with the Oreo Os, I can open the app, send messages, see my friends and all BUT I DO NOT RECEIVE ANY NOTIFICATIONS FROM MESSAGES,
PARTY INVITES OR ANYTHING even if I've enbled all the notifications on the settings of the app. It must be a compatibility issue and should be addressed....

Are you still running into issues with the app on your device?

If you are can you post the app version and your mobile devices current OS version so we can look into that with you?

If everything is working once more we wish you well and please let us know if we can assist with anything else!

Unsure if this is still a thing but i would try clearing the cache and try uninstalling and re installing. was recently having the same issue and that worked!

thread you posted on and created a new thread for you.

Since you stopped receiving notifications after an OS update to your phone, then the update or the OS itself may be causing the issue and would need to be addressed by Google.

Do you still receive notifications normally on your Xbox One console?

If you haven't already done so, re-install the app and then sign back into your account and give it a test.

Typically after a major OS update the updated Apps will follow shortly after. This is a public update and not a beta correct? If so give it a few days for the apps to make it to marked.

UPDATE 08/02/20 19:25 GMT: After 3 uninstalls and reinstalls it is still not installing from Android phone app to PC but it works to console. The PC is listed in the devices. The iPad app works fine.
