Xbox App - Not receiving notifications on Windows 10

Applies to messages, invites, etc. Anybody know a solution to this? I checked my game mode on my avast antivirus and fixed the issue with that but still can't get my notifications to work or pop up when I'm signed in.

Xbox app windows 10 - no invite notifications showing up

I'm not receiving ANY party or game invites on my xbox app in windows 10. I've turned on all notification settings and tried friending the people but I still don't get invites. Where are these pop ups?

There are various reasons why you are not receiving notifications on the Xbox App. It is possible that the Notifications settings are not set up correctly or the Xbox App installed on your computer is not updated. To resolve your concern, you may perform
the following solutions on your computer:

Solution 1. Run the troubleshooter for Windows Apps on your computer by clicking the
Run troubleshooter button on this link. This process will check and resolve common issues with
the apps on your PC.

Solution 2. Reset Windows Store to clear the Store cache.

1. Press Windows key + X on your keyboard.   
2. Click on Command prompt (Admin).   
3. Type wsreset.exe, and then hit Enter.  

Solution 3. Make sure that the Xbox app installed on your computer is the

latest version. Uninstall and reinstall the Xbox App to update it.

1. Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.  
2. Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.  
3. Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage  
4. Hit Enter.  
5. Launch Windows Store and download the
   Xbox App.  

Solution 4. Change the Notifications settings on the Xbox App to ensure that all of the features that you want to be notified with is enabled.

1. Launch the Xbox App.
2. Go to the General tab.
3. Select Party & Games Invitations and make sure that it is enabled.
4. You can also go to the Notifications tab and enable other options.
