    hi all

    When I record a game clip I can watch it on my Xbox , but when I try and watch it on the Xbox app on my phone it says "cannot play this video" this has only started happening when I got the new Xbox dashboard, is anyone else having the same problem

    Game clips don't appear in Xbox app.

    The Game DVR in my Xbox successfully records game clips, and saves them to the correct folder, but they don't appear in the Game DVR section of the Xbox app. I know that it's the correct folder, because it's the same folder where screenshots are saved, and
    screenshots do appear in the app. Also, I tested the clips by playing them in Windows Media Player, and it plays them correctly. I checked for updates in the Store app, and found none, and my Xbox app is version 9.9.28033.00000. What can I do to fix this problem?

    Recorded Video Game Clips stop playing part way through. But works for friends.

    Hello,

    My brother has an Xbox One that he records different game clips on.

    When he tries to watch the clips that he has recorded through Game DVR, the clip will stop playing part way through.

    But when I watch his clips on my Xbox One I see the entire clip.

    When he tries to watch my clips it also freezes part way through.

    But when he watches or edits the clips in Upload Studio he can play the clip to the end.

    It sounds like there is something wrong with his Game DVR app, is there any way to fix or re-install it?

    Clips disappearing and reappearing after the start of july

    I'm having the same problem on the One S. First i thought of giving it some memory space and deleted one clip. The clip would not delete. today it shows up as a thumbnail-less clip that can't be played. I can't upload any videos, the xbox tells me it's uploading
    and it tells me the clip has been uploaded to live, but when i check theres nothing there. On the mobile App I get the notification that a clip has been uploaded and I can view the clip on my phone, but if I try to share or save the clip it says a problem
    occurred. As soon as I leave the clip page, it disappears from the captures tab on the app. The clip I deleted on my xbox doesn't show up on my Mobile App, thats a good thing.

    From my xbox and the xbox app and its not just mine i cant see my friends siege clips to they just dissapered but all my minecraft and fortnite clips are still there

    If there's no option to directly share your clips directly to an official game club, you can use your phone to access your clips on your Xbox app. You can copy the link of your clips there and paste it or post to any club you want.
