Xbox app not opening

    Xbox app not opening


    I recently got PC Game Pass, but when I go to open the Xbox app to download any of the games it just crashes. It will open, sit on the screen that says launching Xbox app, then close. When I check my task manager, it shows that the app starts to open, uses 0% of my CPU, then closes. I have tried repairing and resetting both my Gaming Services and my Xbox app, updated the Xbox app, uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Have restarted my PC multiple times, but nothing has changed. Any help would be appreciated.

    Close the Xbox app and open the Xbox Companion app, if you haven't installed it, download it from the Microsoft Store.

    Open the app and try to log in with your account on it and then open the Xbox app and see if that resolves the issue.

    To help resolve any issues with an application in the Store, we recommend clearing the Store Cache. Kindly perform the following steps:

    1. Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog box.

    2. Type WSReset.exe and click OK.

    3. The Store and a command prompt will be prompted without any message. The command prompt will automatically close after the Store's cache has been reset.

    Thank you very much for trying to help, it's sad that nothing came of it. I'll try somehow then completely clean Windows and return the computer to the factory settings, maybe it will help

    But if I find what the problem is before I drop the OS, I will definitely write here how I solved the error
