    XBox App not finding or connecting to XBox One


    Not sure what caused it, but for some reason as of yesterday afternoon I can NOT connect to or find my Xbox One on my Xbox app. To make things worse, I am no longer able to even open my Xbox app. It keeps saying Can not sign in right now, try again later.
    If there are other people having these issues, why is it not on the Xbox Service Alert page? This seems to be a major issue that has some how effected us without even getting some sort of update or download. Not only do I want this fixed, but I want to know
    how this effected my local network to not be able to see my Xbox One????

    [News and Updates for Xbox One/PS4] If you having problems connecting to a game I recommend searching for matches through the Battlelog website or app instead
    of through the in game server browser because it's more reliable at finding games without dropping you out.

    Check that your Xbox One console allows Xbox app connections. You’ll find this on the console by going to
    Settings, selecting Preferences >
    Xbox app connectivity, and then selecting Allow connections from any device.

    Also check that your Xbox One console allows game streaming. You’ll find this on the console by going to
    Settings, selecting Preferences >
    Xbox app connectivity, and then selecting Allow game streaming to other devices.

    If you still can’t connect, try restarting your Windows 10 PC and your Xbox One console.

    Hello,

    I am having the exact same issue.

    To find the Xbox app connectivity it has been moved to Devices and Connections- Remote Features-Xbox App preferences. Then you click whether to enable streaming and so on.

    For me I have enabled everything and still cannot get the Xbox Companion App to connect to my Xbox One.

    Hopefully someone has the answer!

    smartglass wont connect to xbox one

    Also changing settings under device connections does not allow my smartglass app any more to find the xbox one.

    FiOS App listed on Xbox One site is MIA on the console.

    If u have the KINECT connected to your XB1. Say XBOX find apps. It will show u the app's. Or u can also say Xbox find FiSO.

    Are you referring to the Xbox app on Windows 10, or the mobile Xbox app?

    Are both the console and PC or phone connected to the same the home network? That's required to connect but if it's asking you for the console IP address, you can find the Xbox One’s IP address by going to
    Settings, selecting Network > Network settings, and then selecting
    Advanced settings.

    Also, check that your Xbox One console allows Xbox app connections. You’ll find this on the console by going to
    Settings, selecting Preferences > Xbox app connectivity, and then selecting
    Allow connections from any device.

    If it is still not connecting, restart both the PC and Xbox completely. Follow this guide for further help:
