    Xbox app not downloading properly


    Im trying to download dead by daylight on the xbox app with game pass, but when i try to download it, it downloads fine for around 10 seconds, but then grinds to a holt. Anything to fix this?

    Is this happening on Windows 10 or 11?
    If you try downloading another game, the issue persists or not?
    Also, are you getting an error code or not at all?

    And, please tell me which troubleshooting steps you have done so far to fix this, in that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

    I do see the game in the Microsoft Store but that is still not the issue I am addressing. This game should be showing up in the Xbox app and working properly with the Xbox ecosystem and this is not working.

    Downloading it from the Microsoft Store does not fix the Xbox app. This is not the issue.

    that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, he wants to install on the D: drive, he has set the D: drive as the storage location, but the game will only install to C: so something is wrong with the software or drive format or permissions. he does not need to clear space on C: to install on D:.
