    Xbox is not connecting to xbox app, for streaming, we would all like to know what is going on as some of us would like to stream but need the app working to do it?

    I've been using the Xbox App that comes with Windows 10 for a long time and it's worked okay for months. Yesterday it kept failing to connect my laptop to my Xbox One and I thought there was a fault with Xbox Live where it would be fixed and the fault is
    still going. Why can't I connect my laptop to my Xbox One anymore? I tried the option Add A Device and when I entered my IP Address it failed. I can't do streaming anymore. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks.

    Looks like they are taking it seriously now. This from twitter "Thanks for reaching out! This is something that our teams are aware of & this is being investigated currently." and a reply on Reddit now: [Tech] Xbox Streaming to PC is not working : xboxone

    I having the same issue. About 2 times for 2hr on chat Microsoft. After absurd steps, help desk told me yeee, we know this problem. You must waiting! So, next time i asked chat (another person) what with this problem....and test run's again. Reboot...bla
    bla bla...you haven't the same network xbox and PC...so, I again told "You do not listen to me, I told you that ping ok, and my xbox visible on my PC at network place in my computer (multimedia device,other device)".

    I have this problem on 3 PC. I change router, I set manually IP, I connect xbox direct to notebook, and still the same!

    Yep, it's affecting me as well. I too called Microsoft support, and after a 2hr session of "troubleshooting" the technician finally contacted his supervisor and found out they're having an outage for this particular service. Oops!

    It's been going on for 2-3 days now it seems.

    I´m facing the same problem here, since wednesday the app simply stoped connecting the console. Even if I place the IP address given by the console the app doesn´t match connection. I tried contacting the support and the last position I had was that I had
    to wait and don't contact 'em 'cause they are trying to find a solution. Anyone else is having the same problem?

    Thanks for your post! Check out this article on fixes for:
    Xbox     App Server Connectivity on Windows 10 is blocked. If you're attempting to use the Xbox App's ability
    to connect to a console, be sure to allow connectivity on the Xbox One. To ensure your console's configured to connect to the Xbox app visit
    Settings>Preferences>Xbox App connectivity there you may select whether the console can be connected to any device, devices with profiles signed in on the Xbox, and blocking connections overall.

    It seems like it may be a connectivity issue to Xbox Live through the Xbox app. Open the Xbox app on the PC's having trouble and then go to the Settings in the side panel and then go to Network. Check the section where it says Server connectivity and make
    sure that is connected. If it shows that it's blocked go ahead and follow this guide to troubleshoot the issue:

    If it says it is connected, then restart the PC's and re-sign into the Xbox app.

    Let us know what it says in the network settings of the Xbox app.
