Xbox app Netflix streaming issue.

So up until 3 or 4 days ago i was using my windows 10 laptop to watch netflix on the xbox apps streaming feature. I tried to watch netflix again through the xbox streaming feature so i can watch it in my room and now all of a sudden it gives me an error
saying "This app cant be streamed. Its only for your console, you'll need to stop streaming on your PC.(0x87e10004)". Ive never had this issue since the windows 10 update came out that allowed streaming. Idk if this is a new update that blocks it, or if its
been patched. Really looking for some helpfull insight on this. Thanks

Pixelated band at the bottom of Netflix

I've noticed the exact same problem. I'm thinking it's a streaming issue. Since Xbox One has poor streaming performance with Netflix, it displays artifacts like that when struggling to reach the full resolution. Tested several identical shows on PS4's Netflix
App without any problems...only on my Xbox One.

Hi Rakshine, Sorry to hear your experiencing this issue. Can you tell us what version of the app your using? Are you also experiencing this issue with Xbox App (Beta)? You can DL the beta version located here:
www.microsoft.com/.../9NBLGGH1J27H or go to the Store app, search for “Xbox beta” and it will show up as a search result. Let us know the outcome. In the mean time I will highlight
your issue in our reports to the developers to investigate.

I believe it already is the xbox app beta on my windows 10 computer. Thats the only xbox app ive used not sure what version it is though. W/e the first beta version on the laptops is maybe

Good way to tell if your using the beta version, it will have the option to "report a problem" If you see that function, please report this issue. This will provide additional info to help the developers to investigate.

Odd, why would you use the Xbox app to stream your Netflix stream instead of just going to the Netflix website with your laptop internet browser?

In my experience, this usually occurs because a NetFlix stream was unexpectedly interrupted. To resolve this issue, try:

Restarting your NetFlix app
Rebooting your Xbox console
Reinstall the NetFlix app.
This is the best solution. In the Hard Drive, Games & Apps, delete the NETFLIX SAVED GAME file.

Trust me when I tell you that my xbox has plenty of bandwidth for 4k streaming. Netflix will not stream 4k in the app unless the movie is actually marked for 4K. The app only displays HD as the option, not 4K like it does on any other device that I have
that supports 4k streaming. I do notice the difference when streaming Breaking Bad (which is a 4k serious on Netflix) on my xbox one via Netflix vs streaming it from the Netflix app on my smart 4k tv. The 4k TV smart app shows the correct 4k option on the
show and the picture quality is wayyy better then on the xbox Netflix app.

After the suggested restart and remove and reinstall try checking to see if the Netflix app is down. Hulu and Netflix sometimes have load issues based on the device it is being launched on from the streaming services not xbox.
