    Xbox App missing Network Option in Settings


    When I open up the application everything works, but when I go to look for the network settings the space where it's supposed to be isn't there. It's never there and doesn't pop up ever. Without this is causing certain games that I'm playing to have multiplayer
    disabled or can't connect to the servers.

    It looks like this in the settings menu.

    Nice one, thanks Tones. Will have a proper look later. Because the built in Win 10 option was mentioned i thought it may have replaced previosu options. It is surprisingly rubbish though so will be a relief if i can set up the app as it was.

    Can't stream Xbox One to Windows 10

    Hi Rafraleo,

    When streaming your Xbox One through the Xbox app on your computer, it is important that you are signed in to the same account and connected to the same network. Let's try to troubleshoot this issue so that we could find a way for you to stream to your Xbox
    One console using the Xbox app. I recommend that you perform the following steps below:

    1. On your Xbox One console, go to Settings > Network > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC address > Clear > Restart console.
    2. On your Windows 10 computer, go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Select Xbox app > Advanced options > Reset > Restart computer.
    3. Sign in your account on the Xbox One console and on the Xbox app on Windows 10.
    4. Reconnect your Xbox One to your Xbox app.

    Definitely an odd issue! Which version of the Xbox app are you using and on which platform? Have you tried downloading the Xbox (beta) app to see if it's still missing?

    Hello again, if you are using Windows Defender it by default should allow, however you can check the allowed Apps and add some that is missing going in Settings» Security and Updat; on the left side, Windows Security's Firewall and Network Protection»Allow an application through the Firewall.

    Note: It's important that if Windows is 10 or 11, it's up to date with optional updates and the Companion and Xbox App installed.

    network settings blocking party chat: I had this problem and know matter what settings I tried nothing happened but I figured the best thing to do is move all game saves to USB storage and go to settings and reset console choose the option to keep games
    and apps to save you missing game time downloading them it will remove your profile just re-download when give the option and you will be good to go hope this helps oO W1lliam Oo
