    Xbox app mic mute


    hey guy,

    They Xbox app is cool and I love it for streaming but I have 1 issue. When streaming I understand that you have to create a party through the app to get the party audio to play through the stream but we need to be able to mute the Xbox app’s mic so that
    the ppl in the party don’t have to list to audio coming from the computer. It would be nice to have my voice only come from my headset to the party. I’ve spent hours trying to find a work around but no solution. PLEASEEEEE Andreaa this issue.

    Need Help With my microphone

    Hi there,

    We appreciate you reaching out to us with this issue. Muting your mic while in a party is fairly easy. Open up the Xbox App, navigate to the party, select your gamertag, and select to mute your mic. This should prevent your party from hearing you further.

    so ive had my xbox for like 4 months and my mic now is not working all of a sudden as soon as i plug it in the mute button comes on and it wont un mute i tried switching settings on mute on the console and everything nothing is working help would be appreciated

    To check, if this is something you're still experiencing, are you referring to the Xbox app for Windows 10, or the Xbox SmartGlass app for iOS or Android?

    Additionally, if there are any specific features you'd like to see supported in a future Xbox update, please share your feedback with us as we appreciate all community ideas Xbox app mic mute :)

    To check, if this is something you're still experiencing, are you referring to the Xbox app for Windows 10, or the Xbox SmartGlass app for iOS or Android?

    Additionally, if there are any specific features you'd like to see supported in a future Xbox update, please share your feedback with us as we appreciate all community ideas :)

    Headset: Can hear friends, but mic won't detect my voice. Tried 2 headsets. Kinect mic works!

    Also, if I record a voice message, Xbox says no mic detected; check to see if your mic is muted.

    It's NOT muted!

    Beacuse you have to buy a whole different mic just for your voice so if you want to mute the mic you use for your controller you have to mute that and then go and mute your sec mic and then you need a chat link and its just complicated.
