Xbox App - Login not possible / Anmeldung nicht möglich (0x409) 0x80080005

Hallo,

ich habe seit 3-4 Tagen das Problem, mich nicht mehr bei der Xbox App anmelden zu können und habe bisher noch keine funktionierende Lösung im Netz gefunden. Die Microsoft-Store App ist zwar langsam, aber funktioniert.

Die App lädt bei jedem versuch sehr lange, bis schließlich diese Meldung kommt:

„Sie können derzeit nicht angemeldet werden. Versuchen Sie es später noch einmal. (0x409) 80080005“

Ein bis zwei Mal kamen auch die Codes „(0xbba)“ und „(0x406)“ mit der Meldung.

Zur Information: Ich habe eine temporäre Lösung gefunden, bei der ich die Xbox App
UND die Microsoft-Store App via PowerShell deinstalliere, einen PC Neustart durchführe und wieder via PowerShell installiere. Dann funktioniert alles wie gewohnt, bis man die App schließt und sie sich wieder weigert
einen anzumelden.

Das habe ich alles schon anhand anderer Beiträge probiert:

- Aktualisieren der App.

- Update via Microsoft Store.

- PC Neustart.

- Check der VPN & Proxyeinrichtung (Aus).

- Re-Login des Microsoft Accounts.

- Check ob Account verifiziert ist.

- Check ob App mit dem Administrator geht.

- Check Xbox Dienste aktiv sind (Game Save, Netzwerkservice, Authentifizierung)

- Re-Installation der Xbox App

- Re-Installation der Microsoft-Store App

Ich hoffe ihr könnt mir helfen eine dauerhafte Lösung zu finden!

since 3-4 days I can not log into the xbox app anymore and have not found a working solution on the internet yet. The Microsoft Store App is slow, but works.

The app loads with each attempt very long, until finally this message shows up:

"You can not be logged in right now. Try again later. (0x409) 80080005 "

Once or twice, the codes "(0xbba)" and "(0x406)" came with the message.

For information: I have found a temporary solution where I uninstall the Xbox App
AND the Microsoft Store App via PowerShell, restart my computer and reinstall the apps via PowerShell. Then everything works as usual, until you close the app and it refuses to sign me in again.

Here is everything I've already tried:

- refreshed the app.

- updated via Microsoft Store.

- computer restart.

- checked the proxy & vpn (all settings off).

- re-login oft he microsoft account.

- checked if the account is verified.

- checked if the app works with the administrator-account.

- checked if Xbox services are active (Game Save, Network Service, Authentification)

- re-installed the Xbox app

- reinstalled the Microsoft Store App

I hope you can help me find a permanent solution!

Not able to sign into Xbox Windows 10 app at all. Did all advanced steps, uninstalled, reinstalled, made new local admin account, etc.

Haven't been able to sign into my Xbox on Windows 10 app since the last service outage. Was receiving the "0xbba" error, now receiving the error: "0x409 0x80080005". I've done all the Services -> Xbox -> change from Manual to Automatic, etc. PowerShell
commands all done, to no avail.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused by the error code 80080005.

To better understand the issue please try logging in to the XBOX account from a different Device through the same internet connection and see if it is possible to log in.

If the login was a success then it might be an issue with the app on windows 10, so I would suggest running the

app troubleshooter and see if it helps.

1. Press
   Windows
   Key+X.
2. Click
   Control Panel.
3. Select
   Troubleshooting.
4. On the left pane, click on
   View All.
5. Click on
   Windows Store app
   to run the troubleshooter and follow the on-screen instructions.

unfortunately I have no other windows device with the same internet connection, but I tried to login on my office computer (a house next), I closed the app several times (x) and I logged off and on a few times. Everything worked as usual.

I have also done the troubleshooting on my home computer, according to the instructions I reset the Xbox app.

That did not solve the problem.

ps. I also did the troubleshooting with the Windows Store and reset the app.

Sorry for all the frustration you are having when trying to sign in. Here is a possible solution:

1. Install this app: Xbox
   Identity Provider
   
2. Launch Xbox App and it should require to sign back in completely.

Thank you for keeping us updated in regards to the error 80080005. Try to perform
a clean boot, this helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program in Windows 10. Here is the

how to perform a clean boot.

Also, two other steps to look into trying next will be listed below:

1. Check your PC's clock. The clock must match the Xbox Live servers for sign-in to be completed. Your date and time settings for
   Set time automatically
   must be set to
   On.
2. As a final step, try removing the Microsoft account by going to
   Settings, selecting
   Accounts
   and then selecting
   remove
   next to the account. Then re-add the account from the account picker when you sign in to the Xbox app.

For the post by Leslie: Since the app is already installed please launch the app and it will ask for a login. After that it will do the rest. Xbox Identity Provider is a
preinstalled system app that is used by apps and games on Windows to connect to the Xbox Live account. The Xbox Identity Provider is not intended to run as a stand-alone application though.

after the clean boot the app works again!

I closed it several times (x), logged out and in a couple of times and no error messages appear.
